What Do You Want People To Get From Your Music?

A sense of where I’m coming from, ‘cuz life is hard and we’re all just trying to find our way. And it just helps me express the ups and downs to my life. I want people to feel pain, happiness, just the emotions of life. I always say, “At the end of the day, if you’re breathing, you’re living. If you’re living, you’re blessed. You’ll live to fight another day.”

Who Influences Your Music?

My mom “Damika Ventus”, 2pac, Andre 3000, Lil Wayne, Common, and anyone who raps about the truth of life.

What Are You Working On At MRC?:

Right now, I’m trying to finish my first album, Born To Get It. I have about half the CD done, and I’ll be working on the beats for the other half of the CD. This album is really going to tell you a lot about myself.

What Motivates You To Keep Coming To MRC?:

Me being a young man comin’ up in this world, there’s a lot of trials and tribulations. And usually being a man, we don’t get to express ourselves that much. Rapping lets me express what I feel, and who I want to be. It’s a major stress reliever. It’s something I can roll with my whole life.
I wanna one day, eventually go on tour with my music, doing shows. If possible, get signed, so that everyone can hear my music—because I think I’ll bring a new taste to Hip-Hop.

If You “Made It Big”, Who or What Would You Thank For Your Success?

First off, my main man Max Raphael, my guy Josh Elstro, Mrs. Karen, for making this whole [MRC] thing possible. My mom, for having my back, my family, my friends, and everyone who loves my music.

What Are Your Hobbies Outside of Music & MRC?

Playing football, photography, filming. My favorite, though, is graphic design and drawing. Oh yeah, spoken word, too!
