Audio Engineering

Technical know-how is crucial for any member who wants to master our sophisticated studios—so the MRC hosts training sessions starting with our Basics of Recording course which is required for any student wishing to join the Fame Track. Our staff and volunteers lead small groups of students through the intricacies of our studios and equipment, instructing them how to use the tools to create their music.

Music Lessons

Staff members and volunteers from Cincinnati’s musical community provide private and ensemble lessons to MRC members in a variety of subjects including: guitar, bass, keyboard, voice, and music theory. All lessons are free, and scheduling varies depending on instructor availability.

Rehearsal Spaces

Finding a place where they can make the necessary amount of noise to develop their chops as musicians can be hard for a young band or music group. This is why MRC provides Rehearsal Spaces for them. We have two acoustically treated rehersal spaces in which MRC members may schedule time to regularly practice their material without worrying about the neighbors making noise complaints!  Also, members can use our instruments (drums, guitars) and equipment (amplifiers, microphones) so they don’t have to lug gear around town just to practice!

Dance Class

If we are able to expand our facility into the rest of our current building, we will offer Hip-Hop dance classes. The sessions will be open to all members on a drop-in basis.
