At the Music Resource Center, we ensure that all teens—regardless of income, background, or ability—have access to state-of-the-art music equipment, expert instruction, and performance opportunities. Students pay only $10 per month to participate, and your generous contributions help cover the rest—funding instruments, recording equipment, performance spaces, and life-changing mentorship programs.

EQUIPMENT DONATIONS
We strive to give our youth the most fulfilling music experience possible, even on a limited budget. Instruments, amplifiers, and recording equipment play a huge role in helping us achieve that, and donations can make an immediate impact on our students’ growth.
That said, we do have to balance space and usability. For example, while we’re deeply grateful for offers of upright or grand pianos, each of our recording and practice rooms is already equipped with one, so we unfortunately cannot accept additional pianos at this time. Similarly, when it comes to recording gear, donated items need to be compatible with the equipment our students are already learning on in order to be effective teaching tools. High-quality microphones, preamps, compressors, cables, or audio interfaces are always welcome and can be put to immediate use. More outdated or specialized equipment can be harder for us to integrate into our teen-centered environment.
